Testing Information

The certification testing on the new DT line of enclosures has been completed. All three sizes are now available in 3 models. Testing was IAW the WUC Guide 3.6 and ANSI/SCTE 77 as per NEC 2005 section 314.30      Light Duty This model is for sidewalk applications with a safety factor for occasional non-deliberate vehicular traffic. It has a design load minimum of 5,000 lbs and was tested beyond 7,500 lbs without failure. These numbers meet or exceed the requirements for the ANSI/SCTE 77, TIER 5 application. The      Medium-duty is for sidewalk application with a safety factor for occasional non-deliberate vehicular traffic. This model has a design load minimum of 8,000 lbs and was tested to beyond 12,000 lbs without failure. These numbers meet or exceed the requirements for the ANSI/SCTE 77, TIER 8 application. The      Heavy-duty is for driveway, parking lot and off-roadway applications subject to occasional non-deliberate vehicular traffic. This model has a design load minimum of 15,000 lbs and was tested to beyond 22,568 lbs without failure. These numbers meet or exceed the requirements for the ANSI/SCTE 77, TIER 15 application.
